Here is some information from Lancashire Fire and Rescue:

We are currently recruiting for a course starting on 17th May. We know that there are a lot of young people who have been affected by the pandemic and the course is a great way to boost confidence and self-esteem and move young people into employment or college. We are trying to reach as many young people from the area as possible.

Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service and The Prince’s Trust are currently recruiting 16-25 year olds for the FREE 12 week Team programme at South Shore Fire Station starting on 17th May 2021. The Team Programme offers a 4 day residential with lots of activities, working with people in your community, a 2 week work placement, development of your CV and employability skills, a bursary, experience hands on what it’s like to be a Firefighter and qualifications in Health and Safety, Community and Teamwork skills, Finance, Disability Awareness and much more.
