A daily breakfast is provided free of charge for every child. Our Learning Council was consulted over the menu and from the choices given has chosen a daily menu of: fruit juice, a piece of fresh fruit and either a bagel, piece of malt loaf or a cereal bar (alternating daily over the week).
Freshly cooked school meals are available daily, offering a choice of healthy menus. Drinks are provided and a salad bar is available. With the exception of children in our Nursery, school lunches are eaten in the hall where children are encouraged to be polite and to show good manners.
Payment for school lunches should be made in advance on a Monday morning, by cash or cheque (made payable to Blackpool Council). Please send all payments in a sealed envelope, labelled with your child’s name and class. ParentPay is also accepted. Details of the cost are forwarded at the start of each school year.

Alternatively, children may bring a packed lunch or go home for dinner. For safety reasons, cans, glass bottles or flasks are not allowed in packed lunches. Also, as school does not have the means to provide cool storage, care should be taken when choosing the contents of your child’s meal. We advise that dairy products are only included when the lunch box has a cooling device.
