Blackpool beach patrol are putting this event on during the school holiday.

Beach Safety Education, just quick email to let you know that the Beach Patrol team will be delivering an outdoor Educational Beach Safety road show at Anchorsholme Park on the 4th of August 09:30 -10:30 and inviting youth groups / summer schools etc to join in with our fantastic Beach Safety presentation.

The Beach Patrol team have the experience, qualified and are DBS cleared to deliver a water safety education with the teaching of specific knowledge, skills and understanding of how to stay safe in a coastal environment.

Our beach safety educational programme places significant benefits on their personal safety and wellbeing, as well as providing incredible learning opportunities using minimal resources.

The team target a series of pre-arrival beach safety initiatives including topics on cold water shock, incoming tides and sandbanks, rip currents, fast changing sea, tide, and weather conditions and what to do in an emergency.
