Back to article list

12th January 2021

SPAR Lancashire School Games 2021 has resumed. Please find all the details of the new programme below:

With last week’s lockdown announcement we felt once again as a Lancashire School Games network it was necessary to provide to some physical activity resources and challenges for you to utilise in school with Key worker children or circulate to families via your online platforms. We have adapted our ‘Stay at Home’ resource areas for KS1, KS2, EYFS and secondary schools, and the attachments and links below provide some of the best national resources available for those young people to become/remain active.  As well as some SPAR Lancashire School Games challenges for children to try at home or in school.

Moving is so important throughout the day, and Dr William Bird in this short video explains why; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tyhd9BwlNxg

Below are the resources we have compiled and created and if you can promote, send out and circulate that would be great. Once again we will be encouraging families to use social media and use the #lancsgames21 to show us how they are being active, and we will give vouchers to those posts we really like and are inspiring.
